Look for the yellow building
Finding the door
8 Owls is at number 8 on the High Street. It is the big yellow building with a painted archangel at the top. The entrance is sometimes tricky to find: just to the left of the house there is an archway. Walk through it and you will see the Assembly Rooms at the end; on the right there is a door with the number 3 and a metal owl sign next to it. That is us.
Check-in is online, and there is no reception desk or on-site manager. Once you have checked in we send you the door code for the building and your room, so you can let yourself in from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Guests staying in the two-bedroom apartment also receive the code for the key lock box.
Parking
Where to park
As we are on the High Street it is very difficult to park in front of the B&B and we have no off-street parking. However, St Dunstan's car park, next to the Abbey, is one minute away. It is free from 6pm to 9am and costs £10 from 9am to 6pm. St John's car park (St John's Square, BA6 9LJ) is two minutes away and costs a maximum of £5.60 for 24 hours.

Getting here
From London and the airports
By car
From Heathrow, follow the M3 and A303 west into Somerset, then the B3151 to Street and the A39 into Glastonbury. Allow around two and a half to three hours depending on traffic.
By train
Take the Heathrow Express to London Paddington, then a Great Western Railway train towards Paignton or Plymouth and get off at Castle Cary. From Castle Cary, bus 667 runs to Street (Crispin Hall), where you can change to bus 75 (Wells direction) for Glastonbury Town Hall, a short walk from us. A taxi from Castle Cary is the simpler option if the timings do not line up.
By coach
National Express services run from Heathrow to Bristol; from Bristol the 376 Mendip Explorer bus runs to Glastonbury via Wells.
